Before I start to rant, I’ll just have a little comment: The one day break didn’t help. Turbo Token Satellite on FullTilt – 2nd hand and I’m crippled…how? Nut flush rivered by a full house…nice…pot sized bets (on the turn) don’t matter anymore these days…at least he had ten outs (3 sixes, 3 sevens, 3 kings, 1 ten) and sure as hell one of those hit…*insert sad smiley of choice here*

Variance is a beeyotch. Is it just Tilt that you’re dying on, or are other sites kicking you in the junk too? If it’s just Tilt, move to another site for a change of scenery. If they’re all screwing you over, switch games. Go from NLHE SNGs to LHE ring, Omaha, Stud, or whatever. I’ve found that a little break from the norm usually clears things up. My personal faves, Pot Limit Omaha and Limit Stud. Usually a couple of 20 minute sessions allows me to book a few dollars in the positive (not bad for .05/.10 tables) and get back in the winning mode. Good luck.

Well, it’s not really FullTilt…it’s the FullTilt Token Satellites…I don’t know what it is, but the fact that you can win a token quite easily (at least that’s what most ppl say) brings out a load of donkeys – which normally is a good thing, but not recently as they keep drawing and drawing and hitting and … you catch my drift 😉

What I usually do when nothing seems to work (similar to what you suggested): change the game and/or site…in case of this “bad beat” I logged off immediately…fired up UB and played PLO8b for an hour…had the 9 bucks back quite quickly…so my moaning isn’t really about the money, but about the loss itself..especially if it’s against a donkey who can’t laydown his hand…
