…can I please have the last three hours of my life back? Played the bodonkey bloggerment on bodog. Tournament starts, I win some nice pots, bump the 3k up to 4k…then everyone notices that the blind levels are 1h and there are breaks every 15minuts. D’oh. TD get’s online and restarts the tourney…new table, reset chip count. Oh well…first bad beat of the night. So almost an hour of my life gone for nothing.

Tourney restarts and I get lousy hands all along…and if I have something, someone got me beat by the turn or river. I still manage to comeback from 1.4k. So the second break comes and goes and when smokkee pops it from the SB I decide to call with the tourist (A7o). Flop comes 349 all clubs. He leads out with 1k…I min-raise him…he calls…okay, either trappin or air…turn 7…insta-push by smokkee…I’m pretty sure my hand is good here so I INSTACALL. He shows K7….river? K…gg me.

So sick that I played 3hours, missed those hours of sleep and got nothing at all to show for it…well…apart from the badbeat-story above and no overlay T$…god I hate poker in situations like these….so sick…especially considering that we’re down to ten when we play this hand…so with no K on the river I sit at the final-table with the chiplead 13k+….so sick…I’m going to puke now and then catch some sleep…night…

Well, well, just a little session to cool things off today. Played the unlucky 7 HU matches, NL Hold’em. Won three of them, lost four. Nothing spectacular to report, just the obvious observation that high blinds are pretty fugly, well, not in general, but if you’re holding 4-high in three consecutive hands, followed by a nice 93o followed by a T4o…just to push with QT in the next hand (no point in limpin with 5BB left)…you flop the all around draw against your opponents ace rag…so 8 outs for the straight, 6 outs for the two live cards and nada…oh well…happens…I’m outta here….

It’s been ages since we last played our regular home game. Tonight ten donks s00ted up and joined the festivities. I took down the main tournament. Wheeeeeeeeeeee. A W….so sweet. I took third in the side tourney, too (getting a refund on my buyin), so I finished the night 2/2 in the money with 1W and 1 third place finish. Overall a nice showing especially considering that I held exactly one pocket pair all night, KK getting no action headsup in the main tourney. The rest was grinding it out and it worked out pretty nicely.

Alrighty…I’m outta here…time to catch some sleep…gotta be up and running later on to a wedding ceremony…good luck at the tables and have a great weekend…

I didn’t intend to play poker at all today, but I couldn’t miss Al’s birthday rebuy madness…so why not…let’s just say it ended in utter frustration. Nothing better than to play 2hours of poker, build your stack up up and up…then get burned by two fugly plays. First…Sox pops my SB…I repop him with TT…he pushes…easy call fellows…he shows KQo…errm yeah, nice push there, especially as I didn’t play all that many hands…not many at all, but I guess that doesn’t matter…I think I don’t need to comment any further on this one…either you’re dead with that hand, dominated, or in a flip at best…sure enough I lose the flip, so instead of 30k I’m sitting with 10k….next stop…how to lose with As8s against 2s3s….min-raise preflop…true that’s a ghey play on my part, but I was still a little tilted about the fucking KQo hand. Flop comes A35. I lead out…call…turn is another 3….push comes to shove and although I got the sick feeling that I’m beat, I still call…because I can’t believe that someone would have stuck along with a 3 there all that time, come on I raised UTG and I’ve shown nothing but the best hand in a long time…but as things were, I was right (and wrong)…23 s000000000ted good enough for a call preflop and postflop…gin on the turn and you got my money. Still a fucking donk play IMHO, sorry, I don’t feel like being courteous here….I’m out of here…steamed up…fucking donk hands, keep peeling it off for them in crucial pots…so sick…

…then again, it probably wouldn’t have been any different if I was totally up to par. Why? I managed to run AK into the powerful T6o, all-in preflop…nice call for your whole stack sir (and he wasn’t short)…I then went ahead and ran AK into KK, QQ into AA and some other nice hands, JJ into K9, etc etc…

So Hold’em totally lost…0 for 3…at least I managed to crusher a donk at PLO8…still down for the night, but I’m too tired to continue now…off to catch some sleep…

I don’t know if my view is so blurred or if it’s really just a weird spell of cards I’m encountering, but it sure still feels weird to play as it’s just like the next cooler and/or bs is just the next deal away. Managed to run KK into the monster JJ…sure enough the two outer hits. Returned the favour by cracking aces with queens. The difference. He min-raise preflop OOP and played the trapping game after the flop came Q high, good for me as I bet him into oblivion until he finally pushed into the nuts on the river.

Apart from that some other really weird hands and lots of coolers (most of whom I just saw, and I’ll spare you the screenshots as they’re the usual 4:1 preflop = 0% once the board is up). Take this one hand three-handed. I’m in the BB…button raise to 3x. SB calls…I call with K8. Flop comes down QJT. Not the worst flop three-handed. SB checks, I check. Button fires a big bet. SB raises all-in. What to do…fold. Button calls. Both show JT for bottom two pair. Turn 9. I curse and before I even get into “bs mode” the case Jack hits the river giving them both a boat. Nice hands. Good that I folded. *lol*. So sick. A few hands later the next cooler style. I’m in the BB again and look down at A4. Button pushes. SB calls. What to do what to do. I fold. Button shows AQ. SB shows AK. Board xx4x4. So sick. Still took down the headsup match, but still…makes you wonder…

All in all I managed to pull one W out of four six-handed SnGs and one W out of one NL HU match. So slightly up for the night, but still not back in the groove…not one bit to be exact. Oh well…

…well, not really. I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s me getting a little impatient, or maybe it’s just that I don’t have a clue what the hell is going on. One thing’s for sure though, I’m still running awesome. Today was officially AX is no g00t day. AJ vs 55…flops quads on my ass…presto obv gold there…AK vs TT…flops trips on me…AJ vs 88…well you know the drill….flops trips…99 vs 22…flops trips on me…etc etc…I quit as soon as I won the first flip of the night…22 vs AK…quack quack motherfuckers…and I’m outta here…up for the night…less than a buck…oh wheeee….how good it feels to run that good and still finish up, a little, but I’ll take it after rake…I’m outta here…for real…
